Did You Know?

The Athenaeum in Boston is one of the nation's oldest libraries, home to one of the most extensive collections of Confederate memorabilia in the country. It's a super cool library located just down the street from the Massachusetts State House. If you go there, be sure to look for the infamous skin book, the cover of which is made from-you guessed it--skin.

Pictured to right, top : Mrs. McDonald at the Athenaeum. Bottom: the Skin book.
