Our curriculum

Upper Atiamuri School is committed to developing students who are Adaptable, self-motivated, lifelong learners and leaders. We create programmes of learning that encourage creative problem solving and independence. Our experienced teachers plan to meet individual strengths and needs of students in the classroom. Our students are learning the skills needed to be confident 21st century learners and citizens.

Reporting to parents and whanau

Written reports outlining students achievement in relation to the New Zealand Curriculum levels are sent home twice a year - mid year and end of year. Families are invited to school each term to discuss their students progress and to create goals for the term. Our students are learning how to be part of and eventually lead these discussions. We are working to incorporate Seesaw (a digital portfolio) to showcase students work and also to record their thoughts and reflections.
