Welcome to the new BES students (or "freshies" in UP). We hope this trimester will prove to be a meaningful one for all of you.
Before you proceed, please orient yourself with the BES curriculum and download the Guidelines for Self-Advising. Read the documents carefully and be empowered and self-reliant.

After enrollment:
Go to your virtual classroom- One or two days before the scheduled start of classes, you may check your virtual classroom in MyPortal. Instructions on how to access your MyPortal account and your courses will be sent to your email. Check your spam box in case you did not receive it in your inbox. Note that some of your courses may not be visible to you until the first day of classes.
Important Note: The Student Portal and MyPortal are not the same and their purposes are different. Hence, you must have different account credentials for these two sites.
To whom should you send inquiries regarding the program and enrollment advice?
Your Program Chair will be glad to assist you during your enrollment in UPOU. You may send inquiries about the BES program and the courses you wish to enroll, clarifications, and other issues about the program to bes@upou.edu.ph. Note that when communicating via the internet, you have to observe proper netiquette. Some simple rules on netiquettes are found in 10 Rules of Netiquette for Students.
You are also encouraged to use your UP email account in sending email inquiries. If you have not yet received or if you are having problems with your UP email account, seek assistance by sending an email to miso@upou.edu.ph. Please be reminded that the UPOU email is powered by Gmail; hence, you will log in the UPOU account through Gmail sign-in page.
