BIOGRAPHY

Ts. Dr. Sufri is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a recipient of the Fulbright U.S.-ASEAN Visiting Scholar Award 2026. He was also appointed as a Visiting Professor at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kazakhstan, and has participated in international academic attachments and professional programmes in Beijing, China, India, and Singapore. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering (AI4SE), cloud computing architecture, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction, and Brain-Computer Interface. He is a Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a member of IEEE and ACM. Before joining academia, he spent approximately seven years as a software engineer in multinational industries. He is actively involved in teaching, research, student supervision, industry consultation, and international collaboration, and has received several awards through conferences and innovation competitions.
