Dr. Siti Nurulain Binti Mohd Rum is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree from the University of Malaya (UM), a bachelor’s degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a diploma from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

With over 15 years of experience as an IT practitioner, she has played a pivotal role in various IT projects, including software and database development, along with overseeing IT operations and administration. Throughout her career, she has contributed to numerous journal publications and presented her research at international conferences.

Her research interests span across multiple domains, including data sciences, database processing, artificial intelligence, and social media analytics. She's actively engaged in both research and consultancy, leveraging her expertise to drive innovation in the IT field.
