CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA! 

To begin your study at UPM, kindly follow these steps:

1) ACCEPTING UPM OFFER

Before proceeding with registration, all candidates must accept the offer of admission by logging in to the Postgraduate Application Portal (http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsportal/). 

2) ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR SEMESTER 1, 2026/2027

Online registration of new postgraduate students is done through PutraENROLL. Registration for PutraENROLL begins from 7 September 2026, and candidates are allowed to register until 17 October 2026.

However, please note that the semester will begin on 5 October 2026.

Candidates are required to complete all sections and upload all required documents into the system. Please read the PutraENROLL User Manual carefully before starting online registration to help you prepare the required documents. You are also advised to refer to the following information related to health requirements, tuition fees and important dates for new postgraduate students.

Note: For international students from the ENGLISH PROGRAMME who have completed all their ENGLISH courses and want to register for ENGINEERING courses, please consult SGS at pg_admission@upm.edu.my about the registration process before proceeding with the remaining course registration procedures. You should receive a new student ID before you can proceed to register for the ENGINEERING courses. 

3) COURSE REGISTRATION

Once your registration has been completed and your student ID is activated, you are required to register for courses according to the study schemes through the iGIMS student portal (http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsportal/). We will email you further information regarding the courses once you complete the enrollment process and receive your student ID.
