It is the intent of the Robert J. Loney Scholarship Fund to recognize outstanding Upland High School senior student-athletes who have demonstrated leadership, discipline, perseverance, and a desire to succeed in life while also offering service to their fellow men. Accordingly, to be eligible for nomination for a scholarship, each potential nominee must meet the following minimum criteria:

1. Each nominee must be a graduating senior at Upland High School in the year of the award.

2. Each nominee must be accepted and enrolled in a college or university for the next term. (In process is acceptable, but will delay payment until completed and verified)

3. Each nominee must have completed at least one season in Track and/or Cross- Country at Upland High School.

The Pablo Robertson Scholarship is awarded to two varsity scholar-athletes who have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA throughout high school, demonstrate a passion for Upland High School, have outstanding leadership qualities, display strong character, are highly respected by their teammates and coaches, and bring pride to Upland High School and the community of Upland by their words and actions.

CRITERIA:

• Varsity UHS Athlete

• Met the qualifications and made an application to an accredited four-year college or university Requirements:

• Minimum 3.5 GPA

Are you planning to enter a career in the field of education?! Do you want to become a teacher? The Upland Teacher's Association is awarding a UHS senior a scholarship for a prospective teacher or education-related career!

CRITERIA:

• Current UHS senior

• Plans to pursue a college degree for a teaching or educational-related career in K-12 public education
