By tapping Continue on the in-app consent screen, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child who uses the app under your supervision. If you do not agree, tap Not now. The app stays installed; story generation stays off.
1. What LullAI is
LullAI is a bedtime story app for children ages 2–8. Each night it plays a new chapter of a serialized audio story personalized with the child's name and interests. Stories are crafted by a language model and narrated by a text-to-speech service. They are fiction — invented characters, invented plots, invented worlds.
LullAI is not:
- A medical device or sleep treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
- A therapy tool, a sleep clinic, or a substitute for professional sleep consultation.
- A childcare substitute. A parent or guardian should be present or nearby.
- An educational curriculum. Stories are entertainment, not instruction.
- A chatbot or interactive toy. The child listens; the child does not type, speak to, or instruct the app.
"Designed for calm bedtime routines" means the app is built around winding down — dimming audio, dark screen, sleep sounds. It does not promise that your child will fall asleep, sleep longer, or sleep better.
2. Who may use LullAI
A parent or guardian sets up and manages the app. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to accept these Terms. The child listens to stories under your supervision. Children do not operate the app independently.
3. Stories are fiction, not fact
Every story is generated by a language model. Characters, places, events, and dialogue are invented. Stories may contain:
- Minor inconsistencies between chapters.
- Unexpected phrasing or plot turns.
- Occasional errors in grammar or logic.
We filter story output for age-appropriateness, but no filter is perfect. If a story contains something you find unsuitable, use the Report button inside the app. We review reports and improve the filter.
Do not treat any statement in a story as factual information, advice, or instruction.
4. Content standards and filtering
LullAI actively filters generated content. Stories must not contain:
- Frightening, violent, or threatening themes.
- Separation anxiety scenarios (parent disappearing, child left alone).
- Death, injury, or illness as plot devices.
- Sexual content of any kind.
- Racial, religious, or political material.
- Copyrighted characters or trademarked names.
- Medical, dietary, or pharmaceutical references.
If the filter flags a chapter, it is discarded and a new one is generated. No system catches everything. If something slips through, report it — the report feeds the filter.
5. Your responsibility
You are the adult in the room. You are responsible for:
- Choosing appropriate interest tags for your child.
- Reviewing stories if you have concerns about content.
- Supervising your child's use of the device.
- Ensuring the device is used safely at bedtime (we recommend Guided Access on iOS or screen pinning on Android to prevent the child from leaving the app).
6. Subscriptions and payments
- Free tier: Two episodes per week. No payment card required.
- Plus subscription: Unlimited episodes, multiple child profiles, choice of sleep sounds. Available as a monthly or yearly plan.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managed by your store: All payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play through your store account. UPİGAİ does not process payments directly.
- Cancel anytime: Cancel in your store account settings. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of the paid period, then revert to the free tier.
- Restore Purchases: Available in the app's Settings screen and on the subscription screen.
7. Third-party services
After you tap Continue on the consent screen, story generation begins. Your child's age group and interest tags (plain text, no name) are sent to a language model provider. The returned story text is sent to a text-to-speech provider for narration. Under their published API terms, submitted data is not used to train their models.
You may revoke this consent in Settings at any time. Revocation stops future story generation and deletes all personal data from the device. It does not erase data that was already processed by the external service for a prior story.
8. No medical or professional advice
LullAI does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. If your child has a sleep disorder, difficulty sleeping, or any health concern, consult a qualified professional. The app is not a substitute for medical care, behavioral therapy, or parenting guidance.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. It describes what data is collected, where it goes, and how to delete it.
10. No warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT STORY CONTENT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR EVERY CHILD IN EVERY SITUATION.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UPIGAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF LULLAI IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO UPIGAI THROUGH APPLE OR GOOGLE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ZERO IF YOU USED ONLY THE FREE TIER.
IN NO EVENT SHALL UPIGAI BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR INTERRUPTION OF BEDTIME ROUTINES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions, these limits apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Acceptable use
You may not reverse-engineer the app, extract or scrape story content in bulk, redistribute generated stories commercially, or use the app to produce content that violates applicable law.
13. Apple and Google
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to you under them.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice before the next story is generated. Continued use of LullAI after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights.
