1. What BractAI is
A private field log. You photograph a plant, insect, or fungus, see up to three estimates, and may save a dated sighting on this device. It is not a watering coach, disease clinic, social network, chatbot, botanist, doctor, or culinary advisor.
2. Age
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian’s permission. The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not in the Kids category.
3. Estimates are not identification
Results are machine estimates. They can be wrong, incomplete, or missing. They are not a certain species name, not a lab test, not a professional opinion. Confidence numbers are model scores, not accuracy guarantees. We do not warrant that any name is correct.
4. No eating, touching, or treatment
Do not eat, drink, cook, forage, feed to a person or animal, touch if you are unsure, pick a protected plant, or start any medical, veterinary, or garden-chemical treatment because of this app. If a result mentions poison or fungus, treat it as a warning only — not a diagnosis and not a clearance that anything else is safe. You assume all risk of injury, death, property loss, legal penalty, and third-party claims arising from what you do after seeing a result.
5. Your responsibility and indemnity
You are solely responsible for how you use the app and any result, screenshot, or share. You will not present a BractAI result as a certain ID, expert opinion, or safety clearance. You will defend and indemnify UPİGAİ and its operators against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from: your reliance on a result; your content; your breach of these Terms; or your sharing of a result without the in-app warning.
6. No warranty; limit of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Plus through Apple or Google in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you only used free scans. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, even if advised of the possibility. Some places do not allow these limits; there they apply only to the extent allowed. This does not limit liability that the law says cannot be limited.
7. Your content
Submit only photos of plants, insects, or fungi that you have the right to use. No photos of people (especially minors), no sexual, violent, hateful, or illegal content, no identity documents, no automated bulk uploads. We may refuse a scan (credit not spent) and may keep a report you send. You grant us a limited licence to process a scan photo solely to return estimates, and to receive a report you submit.
8. Third-party AI
After you tap Continue, the scan photo is sent to OpenAI for identification only and is not added to a training set. You may revoke that consent in Settings. Revocation stops new scans; it does not erase a photo already processed.
9. Free scans and Plus
Two free scans each calendar day on this device (midnight local time). A successful result, including "I'm not sure," spends one credit. A cancelled or failed estimate does not. Optional Plus is an in-app subscription (purchase required): a yearly plan (default) or a weekly plan. A free trial runs first only when Apple or Google lists one on that product. Prices and the auto-renew text come from the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Restore Purchases is in the app. Refunds are handled only by Apple or Google under their rules. We do not take card numbers or sell digital features on the web.
10. Acceptable use
No reverse engineering to abuse the service, no scraping, no resale of estimates as a competing API, no attempt to extract the model or our keys.
11. Stores and third parties
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app. Their terms govern the purchase.
12. Privacy
The Privacy Policy page on this BractAI site is part of these Terms.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an in-app notice is acceptance. We may suspend identification if you breach these Terms or if the law requires it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence that still apply.
