The Covid-19 Observatories: How Covid-19 and climate risks have impacted Indigenous Peoples’ food and knowledge systems worldwide. Review and lessons learnt for the future. [Online]

The event will provide an opportunity to present the network of the Covid-19 observatories, its main findings and lessons learnt regarding the resilience of Indigenous Peoples’ food and knowledge systems. Based on those results and further examples of resilience mechanisms developed by Indigenous Peoples, the side-event will offer a space of dialogue for the panellists, policymakers and Indigenous Peoples to share policy recommendations that would strengthen the resilience of Indigenous Peoples’ food and knowledge worldwide, while understanding specific local contexts.
