The cephalometric is a set of tracing lines in a cranial radiography, the lines measurement give an descriptive and predict tool of patient craniofacial development. Cephalometric is used as principal diagnostic method, because it allows study skeletal, dental and soft tissue aspects, dentomaxillary anomalies, and malocclusions of dentoesqueletal origin. Furthermore, it is used for evaluating orthodontic treatment progress and surgical outcomes of dentofacial deformity treatment.
