My family has migrated a few times, the most significant change was when we were in xalapa, veracruz and we moved to puebla for my dad's work, at that time there was only my dad, my mom and me.
This mixture of my families and the way they have been migrating, is part of my identity, since in my house there is a gastronomic mix and my mom makes us food from Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi and Puebla. Among some of the foods that are most made in my house is the capirotada, which is a dessert that is eaten during holy week and what is special about it is that it can only be made with a bread called birote that is only made in guadalajara and has dried fruits and nuts and is baked with a sweet like milk, birria, tortas ahogadas, the pozole is made red not like here that is white, as for food of san luis potosi makes us enchiladas potosinas that its particularity is that they are made as empanadas and the dough is painted with chile guajillo. As for the traditions, my parents only lived them in a different way when they were in San Luis Potosi and Veracruz, but speaking of here in Puebla, we follow the common traditions. I think this is very important because it is how cultural diversities are formed and identify me as a person.
