Meet Miss Boyt

I was born in Carbondale but spent my elementary years in southeast Missouri. I graduated from Marion High School and hold a bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies from SIUC. After some time in the field, I returned to school and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina in art education. Since then, I've taught at the high school level in South Carolina, elementary level in Nebraska, and community college in Illinois.

I live in Marion with my 6-year-old miniature schnauzer, Mitzi, and enjoy sewing, sci-fi, and bike riding in my free time.
