Hi, I’m Yomi! I’ve been living in the UAE my whole life. I’m currently in my second year at AADDA, with plans to transfer to BAMS after graduation.

Over the years, I’ve been working as a freelance digital artist and designer, and I’ll be linking my personal work here in my university portfolio as well.

Outside of design, I play the drums, dance in a performance group, and stay active in the local cosplay community. In my free time, I like to write, so you could say I have a lot of creative side quests going on! That’s why I really appreciate how UPOU allows me to move at my own pace. I’m also into a bit of everything: Marvel, anime, Harry Potter, K-pop, Eminem- you name it!

Digital Art

One of the things I'm the most proud of! I'm only self-taught. I started drawing in my iPhone XR, then eventually bought myself an iPad from all the commission money I made!

Drums

Here's a short cover of 5SOS's She's Kinda Hot. I don't really have a proper one, yet. Since I've only learned and played for fun. But I'm planning to do an official cover for MMS 172 Project!

Cosplay

For fun, I attend events here in the UAE's cosplay community. The attached photo was the first cosplay I made from scratch. It took me about 2 and a half months to finish it!

Make Up

I also enjoy doing make up, and a little bit of fashion!

Digital Design

This was a project for MMS 174, and I'm still learning how to do designing. I do enjoy it a lot! And I've actually done some packaging designs / album covers for clients before in my freelancing.
