The UP System Quality Assurance Conference is a 2-day system-wide gathering that convenes international experts, university administrators, and QA officers across UP's constituent universities to strengthen quality assurance frameworks, deepen a culture of continuous improvement, and engage with pressing global higher education issues — positioning quality not as mere compliance, but as an enduring academic and institutional responsibility.

The UP System QA Conference aims to:
Deepen Understanding of QA Frameworks and Emerging Trends
Enhance participants’ understanding of contemporary QA frameworks and evolving global and regional trends in higher education, including artificial intelligence, microcredentials, and innovative approaches to quality enhancement.
Propose Strategic QA Initiatives
Draw insights from international benchmarking and expert inputs to identify priority QA initiatives and strategic directions to be pursued by each constituent university over the next three years.Build Internal QA Capacity and Leadership
Strengthen internal QA capacity by examining best practices in QA leadership, governance, and change management to support sustained and effective quality initiatives across the UP System.Strengthen Collaboration and Networking
Promote collaboration and peer learning among constituent universities through structured and unstructured engagements, including Unconference sessions focused on shared challenges and innovative solutions in sustaining QA.Reinforce a System-Wide Culture of Continuous Improvement
Encourage the institutionalization of QA as an integrative function of teaching, research and creative work, and public service, fostering a unified yet context-sensitive quality culture across the UP System.
