Educational Requirement: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary, Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary arts or related fields; AND /OR
Professional Experience: With at least 3 years experience as practitioner in the food industry in the field of food service operations, food handling, food preparation, research and development, etc.
Students may opt to take the course on a per module basis. A certificate of attendance will be issued per module completed. However, upon completion of the entire training course, a certificate of completion will be issued to qualified enrollees of the Executive Course on Culinary Science.
The Executive Course on Culinary Science will provide mobility programs for those who are willing to participate. UPLB will coordinate training programs with renowned Culinary Institutes such as but not limited to Dusit Thani Thailand. Students enrolled in the program, at their own expense, can choose to conduct their Internship and Capstone project in these institutions.
UPLB will forge Memorandum of Agreement to these institutions for issuance of Certification towards the completion of both the Executive Course in Culinary Science and Internship Programs to be attested by UPLB and the host institutions.
