We welcome individual and panel presentations. We invite the GE faculty to submit proposals on the any of the following sub-themes:

Guidelines for Paper Submission

For individual presentations

  1. Before submission, please ensure that your proposed presentation is aligned with one of the three sub-themes.

  2. Abstracts for individual presentations should not exceed 200 words and should be submitted online in MS Word format.

  3. Accepted presenters should submit a video presentation of not more than 15 minutes by Monday, 26 September 2022. A video recording exceeding 15 minutes will be returned to the presenter for editing.

  4. Presentations will be grouped into panel sessions of three presenters each.

  5. Each panel session will be 1.5 hours in length. It will feature the video presentations and live Q and A.

  6. For inclusion in the conference proceedings, full papers of not more than 3,000 words must be submitted to the organizing committee by 17 October 2022.

For panel presentations

  1. A proposed panel presentation must be aligned with any of the three sub-themes of the conference.

  2. A proposed panel should be composed of three presentations only.

  3. Gender diversity is encouraged.

  4. Representation of different UP Campuses is encouraged.

  5. The panel proposal should include: an abstract of the whole panel, an abstract of each of the presentations in the panel, and the designated panel moderator. The panel proposal should be submitted online in MS Word format.

  6. Accepted panel presenters should submit a combined video recording of the panel presentations (including introduction of panelists) of not more than 45 minutes (15 minutes per speaker) by Monday, 26 September 2022. A video recording exceeding 45 minutes will be returned to the presenter for editing.

  7. Each panel session will be 1.5 hours in length. It will feature the video presentation and live Q and A.

  8. For inclusion in the conference proceedings, full papers of not more than 3,000 words must be submitted to the organizing committee by 17 October 2022.
