Houston is such an artsy city, not just because of the more formal art forms the city offers: museum pieces, theater and performing arts, but also due to its vibrant street murals and astounding street art installations.

We spent a weekend in New York to meet with Sir Joms who's on his way to Canada. We got to visit the settings of some of my fave TV series: Times Square, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, Cental Park, the UN Building and downtown NYC.
I have been living in Downtown Houston since 2016 for my PhD studies.
This gallery includes destinations near our home including Discovery Green, Buffalo Bayou, Theater District and GRB Convention Center.

A visit at the MFAH as it hold a rare exhibition of Van Gogh's life though his works. The museum's permanent display features works from classical artists and contemporary ones like Miro and Picasso.
Away from the busy life of Houston, Galveston offers a glimpse of the late 1800's with wonderfully preserved colonial houses and of course a taste of the ocean with its fine white sand beach. Galveston also boast of its local artists with several art galleries and street arts. For thrill seekers, you can try exciting rides in a carnival by the beach.
