This picture was taken when I was starting to try photography using my father’s camera. He had let me use it on my own as we strolled around Baguio, where I was able to take pictures of everything that caught my interest. During this time, I believed photos looked good if they focused on the subjects with blurry backgrounds. I played around with the settings and effects from the camera and was able to capture this photo of yellow flowers I saw at Burnham Park. Although the quality of the photo is no longer as good, I still think this is a good photo because of its dreamy and hazy look, which was what I was going for at that time. If I were to recreate the photo, I would show more of the faces of the flowers.
