Exercises: Adobe Illustrator & Shapr3D
For starters, we are encouraged to revisit what we learn in Adobe Illustrator by tracing the captured image from Casa Gorordo. Next, we were tasked to upload these traced images to Shapr3D to extrude them.
Pen Plotter Device
I was tasked to operate and produce pointillism-style prints for Ms. Alcudia's tenure exhibit called Pucker & Bloat.
Laser Cutting
Box Frame Support
I was tasked to make a box frame support underneath the big frames. The acrylic sheet is 5 mm.
Paper Roll Support
I was tasked to make a paper roll support using an acrylic sheet. It was used at her exhibit to support the big roll of paper while the pen plotter kept on typing poem stanzas.

Last task, I am paired with Jimar Atole in producing an entrance arch to be used in the entrance (between Cafe Laguna and TGIF). First, we made a scaled version of the arch using Adobe Illustrator. Second, we have a bunch of prototypes using wooden scraps and laser cut them. After getting the correct measurement, we proceed to make the actual size.
