Dr. John Paul S. Tosoc is a pharmaceutical and biomedical scientist, currently working as a Research Consultant in General Santos City, Philippines. He is a former Research Fellow IV at the Institute of Human Genetics (IHG), National Institutes of Health (NIH), University of the Philippines Manila, Manila City, Philippines. He leads the animal surgery and other in vivo experiments for the Acute Myocardial Infarction Disease Modeling of the Philippine-California Advanced Research Institutes (PCARI) Project at UP Manila in collaboration with the UP Diliman and the University of California Berkeley.
His research interests include drug discovery and development, nanomedicine, animal modelling, and diagnostics, therapeutics, and treatment development.

Dr. Padasas is an experienced science research specialist who previously worked at Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, specializing in microbiology and bioinformatics research for her MS and Ph.D. dissertations. Recently graduating with her Ph.D. from MSU-IIT, she also had the opportunity to expand her research experience as a visiting research scholar at the Catalan Institute for Water Research in Girona, Spain.

Ms. Buenaventura is a former researcher at the University of the Philippines Mindanao in Davao City, Philippines. She has worked in molecular virology research for six years and gained two years of experience in bioinformatics. She has exceptional scientific writing expertise and has published numerous scientific papers globally.

Dr. Ortega is a Ph.D. graduate and a former Science Research Specialist at the Premier Research Institute of Science and Mathematics at Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology. She became a visiting student at the Catalan Institute for Water Research in Girona, Spain, to work on the bioinformatics part of her dissertation. Her research interests are focused on microbial ecology, host-microbiome interaction, and bioinformatics.

Dr. Odchimar focuses on exploring the pharmacological activity of Philippine Medicinal Plants. Recently, she dwelled on cancer research. She has explored the anti-cancer effects of lemongrass and marine actinomycetes. Now, her research is focused on oncogenic viruses, mainly designing vaccines and screening small molecules derived from Philippine medicinal plants against these viruses in silico.
