John Paul S. Tosoc, PhD

Founder

Dr. Paul is a pharmaceutical and biomedical scientist and Associate Professor at Mindanao State University–General Santos. His research expertise spans drug discovery and development, nanomedicine, molecular and cell biology, biomedical research, animal disease modeling, and diagnostics and therapeutics. He has also conducted research and advanced training in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences in the Philippines and the United States.

As the founder of RISE, Dr. Tosoc leads the consultancy's efforts to provide rigorous, evidence-based research guidance and multidisciplinary scientific expertise to researchers, institutions, and organizations.

CONSULTANTS

Chinee S. Padasas-Adalla, PhD

Consultant

Dr. Chinee is a science research specialist with expertise in microbiology and bioinformatics. She completed her MS and PhD at Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology and further expanded her research experience as a visiting research scholar at the Catalan Institute for Water Research in Girona, Spain. Her research interests include microbial sciences, bioinformatics, and computational approaches to biological research.

Rose Chinly Mae H. Ortega-Kindica, PhD

Consultant

Dr. Chinly is a microbiologist and bioinformatics researcher with experience in microbial ecology, host–microbiome interactions, and computational biology. She is a PhD graduate and former Science Research Specialist at Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology and completed research training at the Catalan Institute for Water Research in Girona, Spain. Her expertise integrates microbiology, bioinformatics, and molecular approaches to investigate complex biological systems.

Nyzar Mabeth O. Odchimar, PhD

Consultant

Dr. Mabeth is a researcher specializing in pharmacological research, medicinal plants, and cancer biology. Her research has explored the anticancer potential of Philippine medicinal plants, including the effects of lemongrass and marine actinomycetes. Her current research focuses on oncogenic viruses, vaccine design, and the in silico screening of small molecules derived from Philippine medicinal plants for potential antiviral applications.

Sheryl Grace Buenaventura

Consultant

Ms. Sheryl is a researcher with experience in molecular virology, bioinformatics, and scientific writing. She previously worked as a researcher at the University of the Philippines Mindanao, where she gained extensive experience in molecular virology research and bioinformatics. Her work has contributed to several scientific publications, reflecting her expertise in molecular research, computational biology, and scientific communication.
