Similar to European and American roulette, the Filipinos simplified this famous game having its translated name Roleta. Players bet on colors or numbers, and a spinning wheel decides the winner/s.
They used flashy spinning wheels and created combinations or combos of numbers and colors for more bets to place on.
Suppose there are 36 numbers and you bet on a single number, your probability of winning is only 2.78% while if you focus on colors, let’s say half of the section is red and the other half is blue, betting on red will give you a 50% chance of winning. To increase your odds, play group bets and observe the wheel before placing your bets as it could favor a certain number or section.
Fun Fact: This bet game embodies the spirit of Fiesta as it is fast-paced, loud, and colorful.
