Mental health is a major priority in higher learning institutions. Addressing mental health and ensuring that the students are mentally healthy will help in their academic performance.
The UP Diliman Office of Counseling and Guidance is a homegrown office within the campus that's primarily responsible in taking care of the students' mental health. The UPD Psychosocial Services (PsycServ), based in Lagmay Hall (Department of Psychology), also offers free therapy services to students of UP Diliman. PsycServ has a competent, 8-member team of Psychological Support Specialists (PSS).
