A Message of Gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Quiñones

The College of Social Sciences and Philosophy – Ethics Review Board (CSSP-ERB) extends its sincere appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Diwa Malaya Quiñones for his invaluable service as the founding Chair of the ERB.

Assoc. Prof. Quiñones played a pivotal role in the establishment and institutionalization of the ERB, laying down the foundations for a robust ethics review process grounded in the principles of respect, integrity, and social responsibility. Under his leadership, the ERB has upheld the ethical conduct of research across the College and has contributed to broader efforts in promoting ethical standards in the social sciences.

As his term of service comes to a close, we express our profound gratitude for his years of tireless dedication, guidance, and advocacy. His commitment to fostering a culture of ethical research will continue to inform and inspire the work of the Board.

The ERB remains committed to upholding the standards he has helped set and to advancing ethical, people-centered research within and beyond the CSSP.
