The Code, launched in February 2026, establishes a formal framework that defines the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of UP Manila research mentors and mentees. It was developed to address gaps in existing policies and promotes clear standards, values-based mentorship, and a safe, supportive environment that strengthens research training, fosters professional growth, and sustains UPM’s culture of research excellence.
