The Cognayan Project held its official relaunch, marking a renewed commitment to exploring the psychology of creativity and innovation. The event featured a special talk on the Science of Creativity, where participants learned about the science behind creative thinking, the traits and cognitive processes that fuel originality, and how Filipino perspectives can enrich global understandings of creativity. Artists, scientists, students, and thinkers gathered to exchange ideas and celebrate the diverse ways creativity shapes our world.

Cognayan, in collaboration with LIKHAAN: UP Institute of Creative Writing, held the Cognayan Poetry Slam SGD Coffee Bodega. It was an inspiring night filled with poetry, music, and good food, bringing together artists, writers, and audiences to celebrate creativity and expression.
LIKHAAN, through its Literature for Social Development program and Ganap project, continues to champion literature, literacy, and collaborations that bridge the humanities and the social sciences.
SISID is a Filipino creative collective that has partnered with Cognayan for a series of events and workshops. These events have included literary showcases, open mic nights, and other arts-related activities.
SISID's 'SALU-SALO 2: Literature Festival' was an event in which playwrights, poets, fictionists, essayists, and filmmakers shared their works and creative journeys. The event was described as a "celebration of art-making in all forms" and featured new and novel works. It took place over several dates in October 2024, including a playwriting showcase on October 18 and a second day on October 27, co-presented by Magdamag Market Cafe.
The Cognayan Project previously invited songwriters, producers, and musicians to submit original songs centered on the theme “Tension / Tensyon.” Whether emotional, social, political, or personal, participants were encouraged to interpret the theme in their own creative way and bring it to life through music.
The project featured expert feedback from Apl.De.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas alongside a panel of respected music professionals. Selected songs were showcased at a special Listening Party at Tiny Bar QC, attended by artists, music enthusiasts, and industry insiders.
Cognayan celebrated Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan’s (AngINK) 33rd anniversary exhibit featuring new works filled with intriguing images that allude to a multiverse where the mundane is transformed into something wondrous and fantastical.
