Studied and finished at Southern Luzon State University with the degree of BS Biology. A former on-the-job trainee at Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and radio announcer at Love Radio Lucena and currently having his postgraduate studies at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos taking Master of Science in Wildlife Studies.

He is a research-oriented person with backgrounds in basic and applied wildlife researches particularly in mammals. He is interested in sharing his skills and knowledge through research. AJ is a hardworking person that can easily get along with other people and can work with a team or independently with little supervision, with creativity and enthusiasm.
