DEPARTMENT OF STUDIO ARTS (For BFA Painting, BFA Sculpture and AA Studio Arts only)
DSA Applicants must fill-out the UPCFA Undergraduate Program Admissions Application Form. An email notification will be sent with corresponding TDT Control number to individuals who had completed the form.

Portfolio
Applications for the Bachelor of Fine Arts Painting, Bachelor of Fine Arts Sculpure and Associate in Arts Studio Arts must submit physical portfolios on or before May 4, 2026 at 2pm. To learn more about the Submission Guidelines click this link.
Talent Determination Test
DSA Applicants who qualified in the preliminary Portfolio submission will be issued a TDT permit and must take the Talent Determination Test on May 18, 2026 at 8am at the UP College of Fine Arts Art and Design West Hall.
*Applicants are advised to prepare their documents in advance to lessen the chance of errors*
DEPARTMENT OF THEORY initial requirement submission (for BFA Art History and BFA Art Education applicants only)
DT BFA Art History and BFA Art Education Applicants must fill-out the UPCFA Undergraduate Program Admissions Application Form. An email notification will be sent with corresponding TDT Control number to individuals who had completed the form.

Submission of Application Statement via email
Applications for Bachelor of Fine Arts Art History and Bachelor of Fine Arts Art Education must submit the Application Statement on May 4, 2026 at 12nn via email to cfatheory.upd@up.edu.ph.

Screening Activities (3)
Applicants will need to take a Visual Analysis Exam (3.A.) to be followed by an interview (3.B.) on May 11, 2026 at 9 am.
Applicants, upon completion of steps 1, 2.A., 3.A., 3.B. shall then undergo the Talent Determination Test (3C), on May 18, 2026 at 8 am at the UP College of Fine Arts Art and Design West Hall.

DEPARTMENT OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION (for BFA Viscomm, BFA ID, AA Viscomm and AA ID only)
Application Form
DVC Applicants must fill-out the UPCFA Undergraduate Program Admissions Application Form. An email notification will be sent with corresponding TDT control number to individuals who had completed the form.

2. Talent Determination Test
DVC Applicants must bring their Test Permit (emailed before exam day), during the Talent Determination Test on May 9, 2026 at 8am at the UP College of Fine Arts Art and Design West Hall.
3. Portfolio Evaluation & Interview
For *SHORTLISTED (BFA Visual Communication, BFA Industrial Design, Associate in Arts Visual Communication and Associate in Arts Industrial Design) applicants only.
* BFA Viscomm, BFA ID, AA Viscomm, and AA ID Applicants who had qualified in their respective Talent Determination Tests will be notified via email and will be scheduled for a Portfolio Evaluation & Interview.
