Ann Ryan Robertson C.Arb FCIArb FCollArb was the 2021 global President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and served as the Chair of the ICDR Rules Revision Committee responsible for the 2021 ICDR Mediation and Arbitration Rules.
An independent arbitrator in Houston, Texas, Ann is an experienced chair, party appointed, sole and emergency arbitrator and is listed on the rosters of the major arbitral institutions. A recipient of many awards and honors, the United States Department of Trade selected Ann as one of ten arbitrators appointed by the United States to serve as a dispute settlement panelist pursuant to Chapter 31 of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
Named to Global Arbitration Review’s “Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration” since 2015, in 2024, WWL has designated Ann as a “WWL Thought Leader: Arbitration,” individuals “worthy of special mention owing not only to their vast expertise and experience . . . but also their ability to innovate and inspire.” She has also been recognized by “The Best Lawyers in America, International Arbitration/Governmental” since 2014.
Ann is frequent author and speaker on arbitration issues, an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center and for eighteen years coached the Law Center’s Vis Moot team.
Dr Crina Baltag is Associate Professor in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at Queen Mary University of London, and qualified attorney-at-law, with over twenty years of extensive practice in various aspects on international dispute resolution, private and public international law.
Crina is member of the Board of the SCC Arbitration Institute, as well as the chair of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration Academic Council. Crina is the Director of the Diploma Course on International Commercial Arbitration of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Crina has been appointed as arbitrator in numerous arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, FAI, VIAC, CAM-CCBC etc., and has acted as expert and counsel in various international commercial and investment arbitrations.
Crina is the managing editor of Kluwer Arbitration Blog, and member of editorial boards of prestigious journals and book series in the field.
Montserrat Manzano is a partner in the dispute resolution practice of Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. She is part of the ESG and Energy & Natural Resources practice groups. Additionally, she co-leads the firm's Diversity & Inclusion and Ethics Committees.
Ms. Manzano acts as counsel in international commercial and investor-state disputes. She has experience in a broad range of sectors, including construction, energy & natural resources, and technology. In particular, she has experience in disputes arising from investment and infrastructure projects in Latin America. She represents clients before Mexican courts in proceedings in support of arbitration.
Ms. Manzano also sits as an arbitrator to international commercial disputes and is specializing to arbitrate investor-state disputes.
She is a Member to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. Ms. Manzano graduated (with honors) from the Universidad Iberoamericana and holds an LLM from Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge. Additionally, she is an alumni to the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Latin America and former Chair of the Americas Initiative of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA).
Cesar Pereira C.Arb FCiarb is a partner at Justen, Pereira, Oliveira & Talamini, Sao Paulo (Brazil), and he co-chairs its infrastructure and arbitration practices.
He is the global President for 2026 of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Ciarb, a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of Ciarb, and he was the first chairperson of the Ciarb Brazil Branch (2019-2022). His work as counsel, arbitrator or legal expert focuses on infrastructure projects, regulated industries, public procurement, and international sales of goods (CISG), and he has authored or edited articles, book chapters and books in these fields.
He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in public law from PUC-SP, in Brazil, and has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University, University of Nottingham, and George Washington University. Among other positions, he is the President of the Court of Arbitration of the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre (Zambia), a member of the Board of Directors of the Vis East Moot Foundation (Hong Kong), and a co-chair of the AAA/ICDR Brazil Advisory Committee.
Yanett Quiroz Valdovinos was recently promoted to Vice President of the ICDR-AAA, overseeing Mexico, Canada and the Central and West sides of the United States, and the Energy sector. She will oversee the outreach and development of these regions and sectors. She is located at the Houston office. Before becoming a Vice President, she was Director of the ICDR-AAA for almost ten years and provided case management services to parties and clients worldwide.
Yanett is an attorney licensed in Mexico. She holds a Law and International Master’s degree from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico. She is a member of the Mexican Bar (BMA) and of the National Association of Corporate Counsel (ANADE).
From 2006 to 2014, she served as the Secretary General for the Mediation and Arbitration Commission of the Mexico City National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO).
Louise originally practiced law in Ontario, Canada, and also qualified as a NewYork attorney and English solicitor. After years of practice, teaching and founding ICC Asia, Louise has now been an independent arbitrator and mediator for over 15 years.
She has resolved cases for all major global institutions, with files involving construction, shareholder and financial disputes, IT and franchising, and international sales, mainly as chair or sole arbitrator.
She is co-founder (1993) and past president of ArbitralWomen, and founder and chair of the Vis East Moot in Hong Kong, now in its 23rd year.

Sofía Gómez Ruano is a Partner at Creel Gracía-Cuellar Aiza y Enríquez' Arbitration And Dispute Resolution Practice in Mexico City.
Ms. Gómez Ruano counsels and represents clients in the resolution of disputes. She has more than twenty years of experience representing clients and participating as arbitrator in large and complex matters involving various industries including the construction, automotive, hospitality, financial services and information and communications technology industries, both in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
Ms. Gómez Ruano has extensive experience in the administration of arbitration proceedings as the Secretary General and Council of the Arbitration Center of Mexico (CAM) for more than a decade, as well as her current participation as a member of the National Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City's Mediation and Arbitration Commission (CANACO).
Ms. Gómez Ruano is a member of the USMCA Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes and is listed on the panel of conciliators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) for the period 2018 to 2024, by appointment of the Mexican government.
Enrique Jaramillo is a seasoned international arbitration lawyer and commercial litigator with a strong focus on resolving complex disputes across the energy, infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors. He represents companies in high-stakes cross-border litigation and arbitration, including proceedings under most major arbitration rules. Enrique regularly appears in federal and state courts across the United States and supervises litigation throughout Latin America on behalf of his clients. In addition to his disputes practice, Enrique also advises clients on cross-border investments, including project development, project finance, capital raising, and private equity transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Enrique holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center; an LL.M. from the University of Hamburg; an LL.M. from the University of Bologna; and a civil law degree from the Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil. He is admitted to practice in Texas, New York, and the Republic of Ecuador.
Mark Feldman is Interim Dean and Professor of Law at Peking University School of Transnational Law, where he has been based since 2011. His articles have been cited in more than 300 publications, including reports by the OECD, UNCTAD, RIETI, the World Economic Forum, the European Parliament, the International Bar Association, and the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission.
His work with the Institute for Transnational Arbitration includes current service as Vice Chair of the Academic Council, Co-Chair of the Asia Task Force, and member of the Executive Committee.
He previously served as Chief of NAFTA/CAFTA-DR Arbitration in the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State, where he led the team that represents the United States in investment treaty arbitration.
Emilia Onyema is an independent arbitrator with experience as presiding, co and sole arbitrator, and acts as legal expert witness in international arbitration. She is a Professor of International Commercial Law at SOAS University of London where she teaches and publishes on international arbitration, international investment law and commercial law in a global context.
She is qualified to practice law in Nigeria, as a Solicitor in England & Wales, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She leads the SOAS Arbitration in Africa biennial survey research project, co-authored the African Promise; conceived the SOAS counsel in arbitration training project; is the Director of the SOAS Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Centre and She actively publishes and speaks on topics relevant to her research interests.
She received the CPR Institute award for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity in ADR in 2024. Her current research focuses on energy contracts for sustainable development.
Ginta Ahrel is a counsel and arbitrator based in Stockholm, Sweden. She specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration and has particular expertise in disputes with parties from Nordic countries and Eastern Europe. Ginta regularly acts as lead counsel for Swedish and international clients in commercial disputes regarding complex construction projects, post M&A, equipment sales and delivery and other types of commercial agreements. She has extensive experience in sanctions related disputes, annulment, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgments.
Ginta is regularly appointed as arbitrator by parties and arbitral institutions, such as the SCC Arbitration Institute, the Finnish Arbitration Institute and the ICC International Court of Arbitration. She has served as chair, sole and party-appointed arbitrator in more than 30 arbitrations.
Ginta currently serves as the president of the Swedish Arbitration Association and a board member of the SCC Arbitration Institute. She is a member of the International Bar Association’s Arbitration Committee’s Task Forces on Privilege and Party Representation.
Zachary Calo is Professor of Law at Touro University in New York City. From 2015- 2025, he was Full Professor of Law at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar.
He is also Professor of Law (Adj.) at the University of Notre Dame Australia and Central Asia Research Fellow and Visiting Professor at Tashkent State University of Law (Uzbekistan).
Editor of 2 books and author of 80 articles, he is a global authority on international dispute resolution, sports law, and religion and law. In addition to academic work, he is Co-Founder and International Mediator with Gulf Mediation, the first commercial mediation boutique in the Middle East.

Luisa Renata del Carmen Duarte holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara, where she graduated with honors, with the thesis "Ethical Standards in the United Nations Conventions on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG)." She also received the Ceneval Award for Excellence in 2021.
Currently an associate lawyer at Zepeda Estrada Abogados where she leads the Corporate and M&A, as well as the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) departments. She is currently the Regional Coordinator in Jalisco for the Forum of Young People in Arbitration CAM/ CANACO, playing an important role in promoting arbitration practices.
She has a solid experience in complex corporate transactions, across various sectors such as sales of goods, telecommunications, and the hospitality industry. Renata has represented clients in national and international arbitrations with high degree of sophistication.
Beatriz specializes in arbitration and litigation. She leads the firm Valladolid Abogados, dedicated to arbitration, as well as litigation in administrative and commercial matters.
She graduated from Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara Campus, earning her degree with honors with the thesis “The Elimination of the Form of the Arbitration Agreement,” as well as a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the same institution.
She is a professor of the subject Arbitration in the Master’s Program in Corporate Law at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.

He is licensed to practice law in California, the United States, and Mexico. Prof. Muñoz's academic journey includes law studies in Mexico (Lic. Iur. UIA) and France (DEUF, Lyon III), followed by two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees—one from the University of Liverpool, UK, and another from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. He also holds a Doctor of Laws (Ph.D.), summa cum laude, from Basel University, Switzerland.
