ESTIMATED TIME OF DELIVERY: 

Two to ten working days,  as long as you have delivered all the documents in a complete and satifactory manner. 

Please read all this information carefully:

Make your appointment on the Mexican Embassy of your country here. You can check schedule and availability to make your appointment. 

Get all your documents together and be on time to your appointment.  We recommend you to communicate before the appointment to the Embassy to make sure you have all the documents you need, because sometimes in each Embassy different documents could be requested. 

In those cases in which the documentation or information presented is not original, has inconsistencies or irregularities, the Secretariat will verify its authenticity before the issuing authority and may require additional evidence from the applicant.

The visa process is individual, each applicant must schedule an appointment and present the original and a copy of the required documentation.

On the day of your appointment you must come in person, without companions. In order to enter the facilities, you must present your proof of appointment for visa processing. Only in the following cases is the access of companions allowed: a) in the case of minors or people with disabilities, since the presence of those who exercise parental authority or legal guardianship is required; b) interpreter, in case the visa applicant does not speak Spanish; and c) people who, due to having a physical disability, require someone to accompany them.

It is your responsibility to read the requirements carefully and present ALL the documentation on the day of your appointment, otherwise, you will receive a refusal and you will have to schedule a new appointment, with no exceptions.

Fee for the issuance of a visa in a foreign passport  $53.00 USD. Payment of consular fees is in CASH, EXACT AMOUNT and with bills in GOOD CONDITION *Fees may vary without previous announcement

DOCUMENTS REQUESTED

* In case of carrying out the proceses in a country other than your nationality, you must present the document that proves your legal stay in that country. original and copy.

* In case of being under age  you will have to be accompanied by your two parents. They must also process a Letter / Permit to leave minors before a notary so that you can travel to Mexico. original

Recommendations:

Make sure that it does not say 180 days because it can be confused with a tourist  and you will not be able to complete the legal process you need to make once you are in Mexico.
