I received my bachelor's in the Building Construction Department in the College of Engineering, University of Sulaimani (2007) (Iraq).
I received a master's degree in structural engineering from the School of Civil Engineering, University Science Malaysia (2014) (Malaysia).
I received my PhD in structural engineering from Erbil Technical Engineering College, Erbil Polytechnic University (2025) (Iraq).
My philosophy of teaching is rooted in cultivating a rigorous, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment that nurtures critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Drawing on my academic and professional experience in civil and structural engineering, I aim to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, encouraging students to engage deeply with complex, real-world challenges. I strive to foster an inclusive classroom where students feel safe to question, collaborate, and innovate. As an evolving academic, I remain committed to reflective practice and continual improvement, recognising that effective teaching is a dynamic and lifelong endeavour.
