Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Department

1. "Leadership and Nursing Administration Module" - (Theoretical and Practical Module).

 Semester- Spring 2025 

The Leadership and Nursing Administration course is designed to create a comprehensive understanding of leadership principles, management techniques and contemporary management required at a high level of practice, expertise and competency for nursing students.

  In order to be able to play an effective role in the field of management in the form of organizing staff and workplace, planning, critical and creative thinking, organizing relationships and problem solving.

Of course, nurses are often faced with duties and responsibilities in the workplace and during the performance of their duties such as supervising various hospital duties and managing health care centers, units and teams.

This module will help nurses to become better at performing administrative duties and playing a successful and excellent role in the future.

Community Health Nursing Department

2. "Prevention and Health Promotion Module" (Theoretical Module)

 Semester- Spring 2025

This module is designed to provide an overview of the principles and practices of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings regarding communicable and non-communicable diseases. In addition, it encourages the implementation of the fundamentals of health promotion around individuals and communities.

Prevention and Infection Control refers to the policy and procedures implemented to control and minimize the dissemination of infections in hospitals and other healthcare settings and among populations.

Preventive and health promotion is a medical specialty focused on promoting health, disease prevention, and the early detection and management of risks that factors that can lead to illness.

Its primary goal is to ensure health by maintaining and improving the overall health of individuals, communities, and populations in general.

3. "Clinical Leadership and Professional Development Module"- (Theoretical and Practical Module).

 Semester- Spring 2025

The College of Nursing curriculum, not only the art and science of providing direct patient care teaches its students, but also cultivates key skills for leadership and growth within the dynamic healthcare environment.

Through the presentation of this module "Clinical Leadership and Professional Development" an important scientific foundation is laid to prepare and strengthen our students to take leadership opportunities at all levels of nursing journey and educate them on the path of continuous learning There is the provision of health services to different communities, encouraging them to make a lifelong commitment to demonstrate scientific, professional and managerial skills.

It is the future responsibility of nurses, inside and outside the clinical setting, to explore the importance of professional development and practice the responsibility of patient care and keeping up with modern developments and clinic management at higher levels.

The developments of the modern world require that health care continue to develop, as well as the new world requires nurses to be active in their learning and profession and take responsible leadership of the next stages of health care, by identifying their strengths and pursuing continuous learning opportunities, each to represent a leading nurse in the community, health centers and the market, 

so that they can practice their lives honorably, bravely and freely alongside the service of humanity

Finally, this module aims to build not only competent nurses but also emerging leaders who are committed to excellence, collaboration and sustainable development in society, to ensure meeting community needs and making differences.

4. "Family and Community Health Nursing Module" - (My Responsibility, One- Practical Part)

 Semester-Spring 2025

The Family and Community Health Nursing Module is a comprehensive collection of knowledge related to the lives of individuals in society.

This module is essential to empower nurses in the future to provide comprehensive health services to different classes from pregnant mothers, to infants, young people and the elderly. 

And creating meaningful impact in communities, which focuses on monitoring all aspects of public life, including the provision of clean and healthy water and food to prevent epidemics and communicable diseases.

This module is designed to encourage their trainees to work in their career opportunities in such a way that they are responsible for their communities every day to ensure a healthier tomorrow for the citizens of their community for providing the security of life and the health status of community therefor with the necessary diversity of knowledge, wisdom and compassion embrace responsibility.
