PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1982-1987: Department of Medieval Slavonic language, Literature, History and Slavic Civilization in the "Cyril and  Methodius" Scientific Research Center of the Sciences Academy.

1984-1986 : Teacher of Greek Language.

1988-1989 : Lecturer of Balkan Studies in the Highest Paedagogical Institute of Blagoevgrad.

1991-1994 : I was assigned a teaching position as assistant of AUTh- Department of Theology and Sector of Ecclesiastical History, Christian Literature, Archaeology and Art in the History, Literature and Civilization of the Slavs.

1992-1993 : Taught European History (Medieval period) in the Department of History and Ethnology of DUTh in Komotini (PD 407/80).

1995 : High school teacher in the Secondary School for Greek Refugees in Thessaloniki.

1999-2000 : Taught Bulgarian language and Literature (PD 407/80) in the Department of Balkan Studies - AUTh.

2000-2004 : Elected and served as Adjunct Assistant professor of Bulgarian Language and Literature (PD 407/80) in the Department of Balkan Studies - AUTh.

I worked in the University of Thessaloniki - sector of Theology and Ecclesiastical History, Christian Literature and Art as an assistant teacher in the History, Literature and Civilization of the Slavs.

I taught European History in the Department of History and Ethnology in the University of Thrace.

I served as a theologian.

I taught foreign languages.

I participated in 30 scientific conferences and symposia in Greece and abroad.

I participated in educational travels in Greece and other countries.

I wrote scientific books in foreign languages, treatises and Greek - Bulgarian language companion books.

I gave scientific lectures in Greece and abroad.

I am a member of the Greek History Society, the Greek Society of Slavian Studies and the Greek Palaeography Society.
