The 3500xL Genetic Analyzer is a 24-capillary sequencing platform suitable for a wide variety of applications, including de novo sequencing, resequencing (mutational profiling), micro satellite analysis, and SNP validation or screening. Most applications can be run on a single polymer and capillary array. Designed to detect up to six fluorescent dyes simultaneously, the 3500 Series enables high levels of multiplexing for fragment analysis applications, increasing throughput and data points per run, which can help lower the cost per sample.
