2019-2021
Ephorate of Antiquities of Kavala, within the framework of the NSRF project “Upgrading of the Archaeological Site of Philippi,” under the direction of the Head of the Ephorate, St. Dadaki.
Fixed-term employment contracts from 22 October 2019 to 30 September 2021, as
archaeologist responsible (a) for the documentation and archiving of marble architectural members, sculptures, inscriptions, and various stone finds from old and recent excavations at Philippi and (b) for preparing archaeological documentation studies based on French bibliography related to Philippi.
2017-2019
TransAdriatic Pipeline (TAP project), employed by the Bonatti & JP-Avax and Spiecapag & Aktor consortia, under the supervision of the Ephorates of Antiquities of Serres (Head: P. Malama), Xanthi (Head: K. Kallintzi), and Kavala (Head: St. Dadaki).
Fixed-term employment contracts with a total duration of 12 months, as
archaeologist responsible for excavation and supervision of trenching works for the pipeline route. Duties included supervising mechanical excavation, managing/supervising archaeological excavation personnel, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports in English and Greek, maintaining excavation journals and photographic archives, and coordinating both with the supervising archaeological authorities and the project’s Technical Department.
2014-2015
17th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities / Ephorate of Antiquities of Imathia, under the direction of Dr. A. Kottaridi.
Fixed-term employment contract of 16 months, as
archaeologist employed in the project “Selection, scientific documentation and quality control of content and services” of the project “Virtual Tour Network in the Ancient Kingdom of the Macedonians.” Work included writing scientific essays and collecting all relevant photographic material concerning the history and archaeology of the Macedonian kingdom for online publication.
2013
10th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities of Chalkidiki and Mount Athos, under the direction of I. Kanonidis.
Fixed-term employment contract of 6 months, as
Archaeologist responsible for the rescue excavation at the foundations of the Old Katholikon (15th century) of the Holy Monastery of Saint Paul, Mount Athos. Duties included supervising excavation personnel, maintaining excavation documentation and photographic archives, remote coordination with the Ephorate, and living harmoniously within the monastic community.
2011-2013
9th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities of Thessaloniki (Head: D. Marki) – AEGEK–Impregilo–Ansaldo STS–Seli–AnsaldoBreda Consortium of the Thessaloniki Metro.
Fixed-term employment contract of 18 months with the consortium, as
Archaeologist responsible for digital documentation and archiving of excavation, finds, and photographs from the Venizelou, Agia Sophia, and Stavroupoli Junction stations.
2008

Fixed-term employment contract of 3 months, as
Archaeologist responsible for rescue excavations on Thasos:
a) at a Middle Byzantine building near ancient Thasos (Limenas),
b) at a semi-mountainous (possibly agro-pastoral) installation of the 4th–3rd century BC at Rachoni, within a modern livestock unit (owner: G. Chousios).
Duties included supervising excavation personnel and maintaining excavation journals and photographic archives.
1997-2000
18th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of Kavala, under the direction of Dr. Ch. Koukoulis-Chrysanthaki.
Fixed-term employment contracts of a total duration of 24 months, as
Archaeologist responsible for documenting and archiving approximately 2,000 Greek and Latin inscriptions from Philippi, kept at the archaeological site and the museums of Philippi, Kavala, Drama, and Serres, in the framework of the project Corpus of the Inscriptions of Philippi – Corpus des Inscriptions grecques et latines de Philippes en Macédoine by the Ephorate and the French School at Athens. Supervisors: Dr. Ch. Koukouli-Chrysanthaki, Prof. P. Ducrey (University of Lausanne), Prof. A. D. Rizakis (National Hellenic Research Foundation), D. Mulliez, A. Farnoux, and V. Chankowski (Directors of the French School at Athens).
Archaeologist responsible for rescue excavations:
a) at the ancient settlement of Kalamitsa (Kavala), in the foundations of a modern building. Duties included supervising excavation personnel, monitoring mechanical excavation (JCB), and maintaining excavation journals.
b) at the Byzantine settlement of Drama (Church of Hagia Sophia). Duties included supervising excavation personnel and maintaining journals and photographic archives.
c) at the Roman-period cemeteries of Philippi (Lydia, Kavala), at the Chliara and Koutras plots. Duties included supervising excavation personnel, monitoring mechanical excavation, maintaining journals and photographic archives, and preparing the final excavation report.
