Born in Salem, Tamil Nadu, however, most of my formal education is in Gandhigram, from schooling to masters, a model village developed on the ideology of Gandhiji by Mrs.Soundaram Iyengar of TVS group. 

I completed my graduation under the supervision of Prof.S.Ramakrishnan, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry Department, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in Polymer Chemistry. Following which, I did my postdoctoral research with Prof.Ulrich Scherf, Bergische University, Wuppertal, Germany.
