Srijit Mishra et al (27 Feb 2017-10 Sep 2020, refers to my association) Special Programme for Revival of Millets in Tribal areas of Odisha (Odisha Millets Mission) is an action research study initiated during my secondment as Director, NCDS, which has been funded by Government of Odisha. Many reports and policy briefs have been put up till September 2020. The programme has continued and has received National and Global acclaim, including in the year of International Year of Millets.

The suggestions were implemented by the Government of Maharashtra as ‘Vasantrao Naik Ksheti Swalambhan Mission’ as also leading to other initiatives by the Government of India.
