Theme of the Conference

The main goal of this conference is to facilitate the researchers to stay abreast with recent developments in various disciplines of Fractional Calculus and related fields, and to provide new directions through several invited talks by experts covering problems of current interest and important applications. The scientific program of the conference will consist of invited talks and paper presentations.

Aims and Objectives of the conference

  • To provide the forum for exciting interactions among academicians, researchers, and Mathematicians to exchange and disseminate the recent developments and advances in the area of Fractional Calculus.

  • To promote and encourage the young researchers to study and pursue research in the widely applicable field of Applied Mathematics.

  • To bring out more collaborations and to form a working group at the national and international level in this field.

  • To provide a platform for researchers to present their findings, and to give an opportunity for interactions with the fellow researchers and experts working in the field.

Importance and Relevance of the Conference

Fractional Calculus is a branch of Mathematics which deals with the derivatives and integrals of arbitrary (non-integer) order. Though the subject is as old as conventional Calculus, the applications are rather recent. The researchers Grunwald, Letnikov, L’Hospital, Leibnitz, Hardy, Caputo, Mainardi and others did pioneering work in this field.

The key feature of the models involving fractional derivative is the flexibility in the choice of fractional order. Such models are proved appropriate in modelling the processes showing an intermediate behavior. The fractional order operators are non-local in contrast with the classical integer-order operator. This non-locality plays a vital role in modelling the memory and hereditary properties in the natural systems.

Mathematicians, Scientists and Engineers across the world are actively involved in analyzing and developing the relevant applications of fractional differential equations. Through this conference, we share the recent progress and advances in the theory of Fractional Calculus and related fields, and aim to bring fruitful direction and collaborations.
