I am a Full Professor at Universidad de O’Higgins and an Associate Researcher at the Center for Mathematical Modeling of Universidad de Chile. My research lies at the intersection of nonsmooth and variational analysis, differential inclusions, optimization, stochastic optimization, and optimal control.
A central part of my work concerns Moreau’s sweeping processes and related constrained dynamical systems. I study their well-posedness, approximation, regularization, numerical methods, and optimal control, including systems with memory, state-dependent constraints, stochastic effects, and Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman formulations. I also work on variational methods for probability functions, chance-constrained optimization, distributionally robust optimization, and convex analysis.
I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Université de Bourgogne and a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, specializing in Mathematical Modeling, from Universidad de Chile.
