Since its inception the University of Zambia has never had any employee monitoring system, this has brought about lack of proper accountability in the productivity of the University employees. For example, it is very difficult for the university of Zambia management to know which employees are reporting for work on time and those who are not. Therefore it is imperative that a proper system is built so as to remedy the situation. The intention for developing the Employee Online Attendance Log Book system is to change the way of taking attendance by computerising it. The second purpose for processing this software is to automatically generate the report at the end of the week and month reports when the request is made.
