2020 Virtual RVTEC

While COVID-19 has disrupted many plans and prevented us from meeting in person this year, UNOLS is excited to host our first ever Virtual RVTEC. In an effort to retain a portion of the valuable in person experience, we have opted to create a Slack Channel to allow all participants to interact with each other independent of when they are able to view the presentations. It is our hope that individuals at sea may also be able to share their expertise and insight, even if they are unable to view the presentations live or over the course of the week.

Presenters will make their presentations in Zoom which will be live streamed to YouTube. After the live presentation, the videos will become available at the same link. Presenters will be requested to check the slack over the course of the week for questions and conversations that may come up before or after their presentation. A moderator will pass questions that come up live to the presenter during the presentation if appropriate. But we strongly encourage questions to be answered in Slack so all participants are able to benefit from the answers.
