In order to prevent zoom burnout for presenters and attendees UNOLS will be creating a webinar series beginning October 5th to cover material that is valuable to the entire community. As a result, we will be able to focus the contect during RVTEC and keep the meeting hours down to 3 or less a day. Please watch for announcements about the UNOLS webinar series soon. https://www.unols.org/event/meeting/2020-unols-annual-meeting-webinar-series
Attendees will not need a Zoom account. Presenters will be required to present in Zoom, but it will be live streamed to YouTube.
Yes. Slack will be a very important component to the meeting. It will allow participants to ask and answer questions as well as enable technicians at sea to participate in valuable conversations. Announcements to attendees, presentation and important links will be made available through the Slack. Presenters and attendees will be encouraged to actively engage over the course of the week. Invitation links will be sent to participants beginning October 12th.
Presentations will be made in Zoom which will be live streamed to Youtube. If you are on the agenda for a zoom presentation, a link will be provided to you prior. If you are expecting a link and have not received one, please contact Brandi for more info, brandi@unols.org. You will be asked to share your powerpoint or Google Slide based presntation through sharing your screen.
A Slack channel will be created for each presentation, please be sure to check into your slack channel frequently over the course of the week to check in with attendee comments and questions.
We are currently working on a way to add a poster session to the meeting. If you have a poster you would like to share during RVTEC, please email brandi@unols.org.
Please contact brandi@unols.org with questions, comments or concerns.
