The Experience of Postpartum Depression
in African-American Fathers
This study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board, UNLV
Purpose of Study
This study aims to understand the experience of postpartum depression in African American men. By better understanding the experience, researchers and healthcare providers will be able to help more effectively and provide the resources needed. To help future fathers who experience postpartum depression and provide research to healthcare professions on how to better treat this population.
We are looking for
African American Fathers who have experienced postpartum depression to participate in a research study
Research Study/Interviews
Participants will be interviewed through Zoom video or via telephone about their experience with postpartum depression. The entire process takes approximately 30-40 minutes
Cash Reward
Each participant will recieve $20 pay upon completion of the interview
