Preparation Before the Camp

We will send out an email with a registration code. Campers should register with the hacker handle following the email instruction. (See below for registration)

2. We encourage campers to bring their own notebook computer, if they have. Having multiple computers will help students to collect information from the web during poster development.

GenCyber Coin Registration

As part of our GenCyber Camp, we will be using a website for additional learning and fun activities. Please register on the site before you come to camp on Wednesday, June 5th. Here are some instructions to help you get registered:

  1. Choose your own HackerName (Hacker Handle). Come up with something fun and unique, and try to relate it to your personality or interests. (Make sure it is appropriate for the classroom!)
  2. In your browser, go to https://gencybercoin.tk/register/
  3. Put the HackerName you chose in the Username field.
  4. Put your name (the one you want to go by) in the First Name field.
