OUR Research Supply Funds
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) Research Supply Funds, in the amount of $1000, aim to foster faculty-undergraduate researcher collaborations.

Faculty
These funds support the purchase of research supplies to be used by faculty (individual or group) working with undergraduate researchers. Research projects that will potentially contribute to UNLV’s overall undergraduate research output in the form of a research presentation, publication, innovation, and/or funding with faculty-undergraduate co-authors will be given preference.
Students
To promote growth and development of undergraduate research at UNLV, OUR will support undergraduate research projects to cover expenses directly related to research (e.g., supplies and/or consumables in the laboratory or field settings, microscopy time, chemicals and agents, laboratory processing fees, printing and copying, a time-delimited software licensing, etc.). These funds may not be used to pay wages and stipends.
All earmarked funds for OUR's Research Supply Funds have been exhausted and we are no longer accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis and awards will be granted until OUR’s earmarked funds are exhausted. For summer undergraduate research awards, please consider applying to OUR’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) which are exclusively dedicated to support summer research projects.
