Notebook computers will be provided during course. However, attendees are encouraged to bring their personal computers if they prefer.
Knowledge in cybersecurity. Students will learn fundamental cybersecurity concepts through lectures and demonstrations.
Hands-on cybersecurity activities. Students will experience with exciting hacking tools and techniques. They will be engaged in hands-on activities for attacks and defenses.
Group activities on cyber vulnerability investigation, capture-the-flag competitions, and team-based games.
Directions: UNLV Advanced Engineering Building (AEB)
The UNLV GenCyber camp will be held at UNLV AEB (Advanced Engineering building) located on the north side of the UNLV Campus. Please refer to the direction on this page (AEB), https://www.unlv.edu/maps/aeb. Students can be dropped off at the end of the road along the parking structure (a.k.a., Cottage Grove Parking Garage). If students are driving their own vehicles, they can park at the parking garage or at the nearby SEB parking lot. Parking is FREE on Saturdays for Spring and Fall camps. During summer camps, parking permits will be distributed on the first day for self-drivers.
