Paula Martínez Lera is a postdoctoral researcher in our group. She works on the development of numerical methods for microscale and nanoscale transport phenomena using fluctuating hydrodynamics and the finite element method.
Álvaro Ibáñez Casao is a PhD student in our group, co-supervised with Prof. Salvador Izquierdo. Alvaro is working on the optimisation of the mass transfer and fluid dynamics in microbial bioreactors using CFD techniques, multiscale models and statistical dimensional analysis, leading to better design and scale-up strategies.
MohammadJavad NoohiJobani is a PhD student in our group, co-supervised with Prof. Salvador Izquierdo. MoJa's PhD focuses on the modelling of small-scale electrohydrodynamics with applications to chemically-active colloids.
Mario Riccio is a PhD studient in our group co-supervised with Prof. Norberto Fueyo. Mario is currently studying the dynamics of small bubbles in highly-viscous viscoelastic fluids such as polymer or micellar solutions.
María del Valle Blázquez Romero was previously a master's student in our group and she is currently a predoctoral researcher working in our group in collaboration with the M2BE lab. She is studying the mechanics of the cell nucleus using microfluidics and fluorescence microscopy.
Maria Rosaria Ferbo is a master's student in our group in collaboration with the M2BE lab. She is studying the mechanics of the nucleus using microfluidics.
