Meet the Teacher!
Welcome Stingrays! I'm so happy to be your teacher this year! A little bit about me...I've been teaching for 10 years and have two beautiful children with my wonderful husband, Chad. I graduated from California Lutheran University with my Master's in Education. I also played basketball for CLU and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2018. My love of sports has taught me the value of team work and it is my goal to teach students how to work together collaboratively, to communicate with others and to build a love of learning that will last them a lifetime.
A few of my favorite things!
I'm a very active person and love to roller skate! I love the color teal, Harry Potter, AMAZON (my favorite!), Coffee Bean, Subway and anything I can do with my kids.
My classroom promise
We will set goals for ourselves and we will work hard to achieve them. We will be kind to one another and inclusive of everyone. We will ask questions when we do not understand and we will cherish each mistake because it is through our failures that we will find success. In our classroom we will build relationships and trust as we learn and grow together. It is my goal to communicate with parents throughout the year. I believe educating our youth is a team effort and I look forward to getting to know each an everyone one of my students and their families.
