1.      Environmental Day – DAN TV programme- Through SSM JC

3.      Conducted Seminar on Microbiology for A/L Biology Teachers in J/Hindu Ladies College on 9th February 2017 from 8.30 to 12Noon.

6.      Sri Lankan Society for Microbiology- Jaffna Chapter and Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna Jointly Organized a Talk On “Fever(Suram) in Siddha Medicine”

7.      Organized workshop :- SSM JC and Faculty of Graduate studies were jointly organized a workshop on “Writing a research abstract” on 16th of January 2018 at computer room in Faculty of Graduate studies, University of Jaffna from 8.45 to 5.00pm.

8.      Organized awareness programme :  SSM JC and  section C of the JSA were jointly organized Awareness programme on “Antimicrobial Resistant”  at Faculty of Medicine among the Allied health science students on 15th January 2018 from 9.00am to 12.00noon.The Resource persons Prof.V.Thevanesam , Dr.Virenja Liyanapathirana and Dr.Mathumanee Abayawardana  visited to Jaffna and they were conducted this programme.

9.      Organized awareness programme on Antimicrobial resistance at Jaffna Hindu college.  one teacher and 2 students from A/L Biology stream from 11 schools in Jaffna zone on 28th of February 2018.
