Excellence Reclaimed: Miss Alexis Thayaparan Virgin Arani Wins CTA Scholarship

We are delighted to announce that the Department of Agricultural Engineering has once again secured the Canberra Tamil Association (CTA) Scholarship for Best Undergraduate Research Project.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Miss Alexis Thayaparan Virgin Arani for achieving this significant milestone. Her hard work and dedication represent the very best of our department's research spirit.

This achievement is a direct result of the high academic standards and dedicated mentorship fostered within our department. We wish to express our profound gratitude to Prof. N. Kannan, Head and Professor in Agricultural Engineering, for his steadfast leadership and visionary guidance. 

We also celebrate the collective effort of all academic and academic supportive staff. Your technical expertise and tireless investment in our students’ research journeys have once again proven to be the key to our continued success. This victory marks the fourth time our department has received this distinguished honor, reinforcing our tradition of excellence in innovation. 

Yeah! This is our glad to share that we have offered 1.6 million worth fully automated polyhouse under ERASMUS AGRI - European project. A great opporunity to explore research and learning activities with the theme of Smart Agriculture. 

We are exited  to announce that the Canberra Tamil Association Scholarship for Best Undergraduate Research Project has been won for the third consecutive time. We are grateful to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. N. Kannan, Head, Senior Lecturer for his unwavering support and guidance and all the academic and academic supportive staff of Department of Agricultural Engineering for their valuable investment during this research activities.
